Music from Poplar Hill: The Hill + Solounias Duo

After creating a sensation at the initial 2019 private founding event, these two superb pianists will return, by popular demand, to the Music from Poplar Hill Series. Elizabeth Hill and Jason Solounias have teamed up to create a fabulous duo, performing music for four hands at one piano. Their Friday evening concert program for Music from Poplar Hill will include a spectacular four-hand version of Maurice Ravel’s Rapsodie Espagnol. The original version of this work that Ravel later orchestrated, the four-hand version of the work is rarely performed, and calls on the utmost virtuosic skills from the two pianists.
