Music Salon: “Le Chat Noir to Birdland”

Presented by PostClassical Ensemble, an intimate one-of-a-kind performance that celebrates the meteoric rise in popularity of the American jazz club and the bohemian glamour of French salons and cabarets. Inspired by the 60th anniversary of the jazz ballad album John Coltrane and Johnny Hartman, the program includes jazz standards, French ballads made famous by Edith Piaf, works by fin-de-siècle Parisian composers, and more.
