Symphony Number One will perform at TEDxMidAtlantic 2017 on October 28, 2017. Music Director Jordan Randall Smith will give a TED talk on classical music, followed by a world premiere by SNO Composer-in-Residence, Ben Goldberg.

Friday Music Series: Great Noise Ensemble presents “Travelogues: Real and Imagined”

Great Noise makes its debut at Georgetown University’s Friday Music Series with a partial repeat performance of the Travelogues program, consisting of selections from Armando Bayolo‘s The Books of Bokonon. The performance will be free of charge. The Books of Bokonon is a musicological tour through the Island of San Lorenzo based on Kurt Vonnegut’s Cat’s Cradle.
